San Diego same sex engagement, coming at ya!!! Alright, this year has been a heavy one for I think just about everyone, which is why I am so happy to make this post. Adding my first gay couple to my portfolio couldn’t have me more excited. And whats better than to photograph one of my best friend’s engagements!?

Brett and I went to the same high school, he has always been one of my best friends. Well, he finally met the love of his life, Andres. When Brett told me he was proposing in NY on Christmas I just about cried because I was so over the moon for them both. Even though I consider Brett as one of my best friends, I never met Andres until the engagement shoot. I know crazy, right??

We started off the day grabbing food and a drink to chat. I wanted to see them together and just talk and really get to know Andres. THEY ARE PERFECT together. I couldn’t help but smile the whole day. Brett and I share the same love for Red Bull, so of course there was a Red Bull stop lol, but we just played tourists the whole day without even realizing it. We went to Presidio park, old town, downtown, and even sunset cliffs. All very touristy, but finding spots that I hadn’t even seen before, just truly enjoying San Diego.

I want everyone to know I don’t care who you are or what you look like as long as the two of you make each other happy.
