This sunset cliffs wedding elopement is one for the books. I have always been eager to photograph a couple on their wedding day, along the cliffs, and this couple made my dreams happen and so much more!

We started the day off in PB. I captured all the details Sydney had for me, and got her in her dress… Let me back up, since there is a lot to tell about these two. Their original plan was to get married at Circle Oak ranch but thanks to covid, their plans had to change. They decided to do a small wedding with their family at Sunset Cliffs, and then have the full wedding a year from their wedding date at their original venue.

Honestly, their wedding had me speechless. It was a relaxed day, no worry about a timeline and we got the most incredible photos of them at sunset!

After she was ready, we headed to Sunset Cliffs where Joseph was. I had him open up his gift and card from Sydney and it was so sweet!!! She then wanted to do a first look with her dad separately before he walked her down the isle. Oh man, I was about in tears! So much emotion and you could tell she was his baby girl!

The ceremony was beyond anything I have photographed. I honestly wasn’t expecting them to have anything except for chairs since their grand parents were there. I walked to the spot and just died of happiness! It was beyond words.

Find your people

When you find your tribe, you just know… Well, these two are my people! They love to just have fun and let lose and I was all for it!! The rest of the day we just took it as it came. They had pizza being made right there, so people ate and drank and just enjoyed the company of one another. When it cooled off a bit, we did some family photos and we had all the time in the world for their “romantics” as we like to call them. This place is so magical, and then to have a rad couple on top of that just made for such a fun day.
